Lajcak ready for a new meeting on the dialogue in Brussels

The EU Special Envoy Miroslav Lajcak has spoken about the dialogue meeting between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels on the economy. In a post on the social network X, he stated that in the meeting between the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia regarding what he sees as the “final round of discussions on the regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo,” no agreement has been reached.
“And it is unclear how this will affect the daily lives of the affected communities in Kosovo. I remain ready to convene another meeting on this issue, provided that the parties show genuine willingness to reach an agreement,” writes the Slovak diplomat.
Lajcak spoke about other meetings during the week, including political consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Helsinki, a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and a meeting in Podgorica, which brought together EU officials dealing with the Western Balkans and heads of EU delegations.
Meanwhile, he condemned the attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, stating that it is unacceptable.
