Will she seek recognition of Kosova from Kiev? Osmani: I am convinced that the moment will come with Ukraine’s victory

The President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani arrived on Wednesday at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, where she was received by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the proceedings of the “Ukraine-Southeastern Europe” Summit.
In a statement to the media, Osmani expressed Kosova’s support to Ukraine and against Russia’s war.
In this regard, she informed that at the Summit she will talk about the concrete steps that Kosova is taking in cooperation with the allies.
“We are here to support Ukraine against Russia’s illegal actions, imposing sanctions, to support the citizens of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian military. Today I will talk about the concrete steps that Kosova is taking in cooperation with allies. We will be here until the recognition of Ukraine,” Osmani said.
When she was asked by the reporters whether she will ask Ukraine to recognize Kosova, Osmani stated that she has sought and will continue to seek the recognition of Kosova, while expressing his belief that that moment will come together with the victory of Ukraine.
“These are bilateral issues. We have done it and we will continue to do it. Ukraine is in a state in emergency, a state in war. I am convinced that that moment will come together with the victory of Ukraine,” she said.
