Ambassador Petrit Malaj hands over credentials to the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani

The Ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Petrit Malaj, handed over the credentials to the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

Ambassador Malaj considered it a privilege to represent Albania in Kosovo and expressed his full support for President Osmani.

“I have expressed my full support for President Osmani. It is a privilege for me to serve as the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Kosovo. Simultaneously, it presents a significant challenge that I am committed to addressing with utmost dedication, honor, and dignity, always working for the benefit of the Albanian people,” Ambassador Malaj stated.

Additionally, Malaj announced that during his meeting with President Osmani, he was briefed on the latest developments in Kosovo.

“We both agreed to enhance cooperation in various areas of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of implementing the interstate agreements signed to date,” Malaj stated.

President Osmani announced that the Presidency has accepted the credentials of the new ambassador, Petrit Malaj, and expressed her belief that during his tenure, the bilateral relations between the two sister states will continue to strengthen.

According to President Osmani, the cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, especially in the unification of foreign policy, remains a priority.

Osmani declared, “Continuous strengthening of diplomatic coordination is in the interest not only of our countries but also of the region as a whole.”

Furthermore, during the meeting with the Malaysian ambassador, Osmani stated that Kosovo expects Albania to represent its interests in international mechanisms and organizations where Kosovo currently lacks representation.
