Kurti accepted the proposal of the EU, Rama: Serbia to cooperate in the dialogue

Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama has reacted again regarding the meeting held Brussels regarding the Kosova-Serbia situation.
The Prime Minister has welcomed the call and readiness of the Kosovan counterpart to sign the draft offered by the international community for the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.
Furthermore, Albanian Prime Minister called on Serbia to cooperate in the dialogue with Kosova. Rama also called on the western internationals to continue with the efforts for the final progress between the two countries.
“The wise Albanian people and not only them, by the way, say “better late than never”. I cannot hide my satisfaction that the leadership of Kosova finally made the right call at the meeting in Brussels! Kosova is in a much better place today by wisely accepting the EU proposal on 21 October – a very significant step forward. It is time to Serbia to do the same. Everything that has been accepted and agreed upon must be implemented without any delay. I urge our Western partners to maintain this momentum and push forward to a final breakthrough. Enough with looking at the finger as the finger points to the moon. Enough with the same old dangerous rubbish. Enough with avoiding peace and indulging the ghosts of the past for the sake of petty domestic politics. See what happens to those who avoid and engage in no win games. We need peace, stability and cooperation in our neighborhood. Make peace, for God’s sake, and continue,” writes Rama on the X social network.
The Prime Minister of Kosova, Albin Kurti, has stated that he was ready to sign the draft offered by Western diplomacy for the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, but President Alkesander Vucic said that he would not recognize the independence of Kosova.
