Kosova-Serbia, the EU and US emissaries start tomorrow the meetings with Kurti and Vucic

The EU and US emissaries will travel on October 21 to Prishtina and Belgrade with the aim of restoring the dialogue process towards the normalization of Kosova-Serbia relations.
The spokesperson of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security, Peter Stano has announced earlier that the EU’s special representative for the dialogue, Mirolslav Lajcak, accompanied by the senior advisers of the leaders of Germany, France, Italy and of the United States, will travel on Saturday, October 21, to Kosova and Serbia, to meet with the Prime Minister of Kosova, Albin Kurti, and then with the President of Serbia, Aleksander Vucic.
The US Ambassador to Prishtina, Jeffrey Hovenier, announced the other day (October 19) an important visit to Kosova, which he emphasized is a reflection of the seriousness with which the US and its EU view the current situation.
“A very important visit will take place, as we have discussed, and I think it is a reflection of the seriousness with which the United States and our European partners in the EU view the current situation. We want to see real progress. Not in the negotiation of new commitments between Kosova and Serbia, but to see that the agreement reached in February and the implementation of the annex in March are fully implemented by both parties. I think that this next visit will be a demonstration of the importance of making this happens,” said Hovenier.
