As part of the ongoing efforts to finalize the agreement on the mutual recognition and conversion of driving licenses between Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina, a meeting took place in Tirana. The meeting included discussions between Endri Haxhiu, the Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, and Almir Badnjević, the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registrations, and Data Exchange of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The discusson focused to a significant initiative related on the technical implementation of electronic data exchange for driving licenses between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania. This initiative aims to facilitate and enhance the sharing of information between the two countries, with the ultimate goal of improving road safety, preventing the falsification and illegal use of driving licenses, and expediting administrative processes.

Both parties expressed their commitment to ongoing collaboration in refining the implementation details and technical aspects of data exchange. This initiative holds the promise of delivering tangible benefits to the citizens of both countries in terms of road safety
