The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti will meet on September 14 in Brussels. The news has been confirmed by the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell, reports RTK.

During this week, the European emissary for dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, held special meetings with the two leaders of Belgrade and Pristina, with the aim of preparing the ground for holding a high-level political meeting in September, to find a way to normalize relations between two countries.

The Kurti-Vucic meeting will be the first, after the outbreak of violent protests in May in the north of Kosovo, regarding the election of four mayors of municipalities in Leposavic, Zubin-Potok, Zveçan and North Mitrovica.

We remember that Kurti and Vucic, in the last meeting they held together on May 2nd, talked about the process of normalizing relations, a few days before the elections in the north.
