While recalling the International Court of Justice confirmation of Kosova’s independence13 years ago to the day, through a post on Twitter, Osmani writes that this decision should serve as a call to the countries, which have not recognized the country’s independence, to change their stance.

“Thirteen years ago the International Court of Justice confirmed that (Kosova’s) Declaration of Independence did not violate international law. Thirteen years later, this landmark opinion remains a call for countries who have not done so, to join democracies across the world and recognize the irreversible reality of our sovereign Republic,” President Osmani wrote.
