The situation in the north of Kosova continues to be tense. The attacks of the protesters did not spare the media either, which were videoing in Leposavic.

The RTK cameraman suffered injuries, after being hit in the body and head by the protesters, while the event was recorded only a few minutes after they reported directly to RTSH 24 about the situation there.

The event comes shortly after the decision made by the Serbian Court, which ordered 30 days of detention for the three Kosova police officers.

We recall that the tensions in the north came after the election of 4 mayors of the municipality of North Mitrovica, Leposaviç, Zubin Potok and Zveçan, where local Serbs rose up in protests, last month, opposing the election of new mayors. The protests were accompanied by clashes between local Serbs and KFOR members, which resulted in the injury of 41 KFOR members.
