NATO deploys additional forces in Kosova

NATO has deployed additional forces in Kosova on Tuesday in response to the recent unrest in the north of the country, where 30 KFOR peacekeepers were injured, reports KosovaPress.
NATO has announced that it has decided to engage the Reserve Operational Force for the Western Balkans, which has been in a state of readiness for engagement.
On Monday, KFOR members confronted Serbian protesters in Zveçan, who opposed the entry of the new Albanian mayor into the municipal building. They attacked in the direction of KFOR, injuring 30 of them.
According to NATO, the decision to increase the number of forces was taken so that KFOR can guarantee security, in accordance with its mandate. /KosovaPress/
