Tensions in Kosova, Osmani: Criminal gangs in the north must be condemned by anyone

The President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani has condemned the violence that occurred during the protests in the municipalities with a Serbian majority against NATO/KFOR forces.
Regarding the tense situation in the north, Osmani held a meeting with the head of EULEX, Lars-Gunnar Igemar, the head of the EU Office in Kosova, Tomas Szunyog and the deputy general secretary for Peace, Security and Defense in the European Service of External Action (EEAS), Charles Fries.
Osmani said that the criminal gangs in the north supported by Serbia aim to destabilize Kosova and the entire region, therefore their dangerous actions must be condemned by all.
“Coordination with international partners is necessary, as a necessary step in order to ensure long-term peace and stability in the country and region. The rule of law is important for facing justice for criminal gangs and their illegal actions,” Vjosa Osmani said.
