German envoy Sarrazin, after the meeting with Kurti, says that discarding of Ohrid Agreement won’t be allowed

The German envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosova, Albin Kurti on where the situation in the north of the country.

In a statement for the media after the end of the meeting, he emphasized that the opportunities offered by the Ohrid Agreement, reached between Prime Minister Kurti and the President Vucic, won’t be missed.

Referring to the last Friday there were clashes between the police and protesters in the municipalities in the north of the country, Sarrazin considered it a bad day for Kosova and the entire Western Balkans.

“It is our imperative not allow opportunities from the Ohrid agreement to be rejected by any imprudence. Not every legal action is politically wise. Sometimes, instead of being appropriate actions, they can be seen as counterproductive to the purpose of establishing law enforcement. Yesterday afternoon I spontaneously decided to come to Kosova, because we are concerned about the situation. I want to say that it was a very heavy and bad day for Kosova and for the entire Western Balkan region,” Sarrazin was quoted as saying.
