American Senator Christian Murphy has reacted on the recent developments in the north of Kosova, demanding that the government of Albin Kurti put an end to the provocations. He expressed his surprise at the reaction of the Kosova institutions in the north of the country to disperse the crowd of Serbs who did not allow the mayors to enter the municipal buildings.

“In my meeting on Monday in Prishtina with Prime Minister Kurti, he made no reference of a plan for access to municipal buildings. As a friend of Kosovo, I was completely caught off guard and he should end this provocation immediately,” Murphy wrote.

“I just had a phone conversation with US senior adviser Derek Chollet about the problematic development,” wrote the US Senator.
