Croatia strongly supports EU enlargement in the Western Balkans, while at the same time seeks more cooperation and good relations between neighboring states, said Croatian Foreign Minister, Gordan Grlic Radman.

“Also, we demand the protection of European values, including the rule of law and democracy, and the alignment with the foreign and security policy that remains decisive,” the Croatian minister said before the meeting of foreign ministers of 27 countries and counterparts of six countries of the Western Balkans that aspire to EU membership.

Croatian Foreign Minister said that among the topics to be discussed in the meeting, is the management of illicit immigration and energy and security issues too.
