During her participation in the inauguration ceremonies of the president of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani held a meeting with the US special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, in Podgorica.

The Presidential Office of Vjosa Osman announces that focus of the meeting were the latest developments in Kosova and the region, and the implementation of the agreements with Serbia reached in Brussels and Ohrid.

Osmani emphasizes that Kosova is a constructive party and requested that the implementation of the agreements should be complete. On the other hand, she adds that Serbia’s efforts to undermine their implementation must be prevented.

“In this context, President Osmani has emphasized that the Republic of Kosova has agreed to the implementation of the agreements reached in Brussels and Ohrid, as a whole and without preconditions that aim focusing only on one article or part of the agreement,” the communique states for media from the office of the Presidency.

Osmani thanked the United States of America for their “continuous support and their guarantee that the whole process is in line with the state Constitution and in order to preserve the state functionality and advance with the international integration of Kosova”.
