Ohrid Agreement/ Kurti meets the emissaries of Germany and Austria

At a time when the meeting of chief negotiators for the implementation of the Ohrid agreement for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is taking place in Brussels today, Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a working dinner yesterday evening (April 3) with the ambassador of Germany in Pristina, Joern Rohde. Germany’s envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, and Austria’s Special Representative for the region, Johannes Eigner.

The latest developments in Kosovo, the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue and the importance of regional cooperation were the focus of the conversation between them.

Focusing on the relations between the two countries, Kosovo-Serbia, the implementation of the Basic Agreement reached in Brussels and its Annex agreed in Ohrid as well as the way forward, on the eve of the meeting at the level of chief negotiators that will take place today in Brussels, the Ambassador Rohde demanded a swift and complete implementation of this agreement.

“Quick and complete implementation of the agreement between Serbia and Kosovo. ASMM is the key! Fruitful exchange with politicians and CSO together with MFA_Austria, in Kosovo for the next steps and Kosovo’s path to the EU”, Ambassador Rohde writes on the Twitter social network.

Kurti was accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, and the Acting Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Mimoza Kusari Lila, at the evening organized at the invitation of the German ambassador to Kosovo.
