EU spokesperson: Kurti and Vucic agreed that no further discussions are needed on the Franco-German proposal

The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, announced that at Monday’s meeting in Brussels, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, agreed that no further discussions are needed regarding the proposal of EU for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
In a media conference, he stated that another high-level meeting is expected to be held in the middle of March where the implementation of this agreement will be discussed.
“Borrell was very clear in his conference call and in his written statement after the meeting. What was discussed yesterday was the EU’s proposal for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
Then in his statement, he showed what the parties have agreed on. What they agreed on was that there will be no need for further discussions about the EU proposal, for which there is already an agreement for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia,” he said.
He further informed that the parties have shown their readiness to proceed with the implementation of this agreement.
