The Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, has stated that the USA welcomes Kosovo’s decision to accept the European Union’s plan for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations.

Through a post on Twitter, Hovenier writes that the United States of America will continue to provide full support for the EU-facilitated dialogue.

“The United States is encouraged by and welcomes the decision by Kosovo also to accept in principle the EU proposal, and we will continue to provide our full support for the EU-facilitated dialogue. The interim agreement will bring significant benefits to both Kosovo and Serbia”, writes the American ambassador.
