American congressman, Ritchie Torres, has declared that Kosovo is one of the most powerful democracies in the world and calls on every country in the world, every country in NATO and every country in the international community to recognize Kosovo.
His statement comes just a day after the withdrawal of recognition from the African country, Togo.

Congressman Torres said that he is concerned about the fact that the West has gone too far in pampering Serbia.

“The USA – stand unequivocally with the people of Kosovo. Kosovo is one of the most powerful democracies in the world and I call on every country in the world, every country in NATO and every country in the international community to recognize democratic Kosovo.

Kosovo deserves recognition, it deserves support in the battle against Serbia, which is a Russian proxy, and we must support Kosovo’s democracy. I am concerned about the fact that the West has gone too far in pampering Serbia. We must accept that Kosovo is an ally of the USA, while Serbia is an extended hand of Russia and we must firmly demand the acceptance of Independent Kosovo as a democracy”, he told RTV21.
