The Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Armend Mehaj, has expressed his concern about the situation in Albania afte Sunday’s evening earthquake. Through a post on Facebook, Minister Mehaj announced that immediately after the earthquake, he called the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, to whom he expressed the willingness of the KSF to respond to this emergent situation.

“After tonight’s earthquake in the Republic of Albania, I immediately contacted the Minister of Defense of Albania, Niko Peleshi. From my official authority and fraternal responsibility, I expressed full and immediate readiness for response support with all our specialized operational capacities of the KSF.

In addition to the fraternal gratitude, Minister Peleshi gladdened me with the information that the situation is currently under the management and control of the structures of the Civil Defense of the Republic of Albania and the Municipality of Klosi. Together with Minister Peleshi, we will be in intensive communication, as always, to monitor the ongoing situation. In good times and in difficulties, we are together as always”, writes Minister Mehaj.
