The senior US adviser, Derek Chollet reacted after the meetings he held yesterday with senior officials of the Kosova and representatives of the opposition parties.

Chollet, after the meeting with the state leaders, said that he had an important conversation with Prime Minister, Albin Kurti about the dialogue.

The US adviser appreciates the Kosova’s constructive and flexible commitment.

“Important conversation with Albin Kurti about the dialogue. Assess Kosova’s engagement in a constructive and flexible manner. We look forward to the continued partnership for the advancement of ongoing efforts towards the normalization of relations between Kosova and Serbia”, writes Chollet on social networks.

In a statement for the media Chollet said yesterday that Kosova must fulfill all commitments within the dialogue, including the formation of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

“We believe that we are at a critical moment. We believe that Kosova and Serbia should urgently commit in the dialogue led by the European Union, which is working towards a comprehensive agreement for the normalization of relations focused on mutual recognition”, he said.
