Serbian Foreign Minister threatens to worsen relations with European Council if they accept Kosova as a member country

The head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, has stated that Serbia’s relations with the Council of Europe may worsen if this organization accepts Kosova as a member and that Belgrade may not participate in the summit of heads of governments prepared by Iceland.
Dacic said that Iceland is preparing a summit of the heads of government and that it is important that they have unity, adding that Serbia will not participate “if Kosova is admitted to the Council of Europe”.
“I thought that Kosova has secured the conditions for membership a long time ago, they have two thirds of the countries in the Council of Europe that support them, but many countries are not satisfied and are not in the mood to make decisions that can damage the dialogue before the Belgrade and Prishtina ends,” said Dacic.
