Tension in the north of Kosovo/ Stoltenberg: Maintaining security in Kosovo, key to the stability of Western Balkans

The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg stated that maintaining security in Kosovo is key for the establishment of the Western Balkans.
“Maintaining a safe environment and security in Kosovo is key to the stability of the Western Balkans region,” said Stoltenberg.
In this address, which he posted on his “Twitter” account, he also spoke about the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
“This year has been a year like no other. Russia’s illegal war of aggression in Ukraine has made our world more dangerous. Faced with Europe’s biggest security crisis since World War II, NATO has responded with strength and unity. Within hours of the invasion, we activated our defense plans. Now we have over 40,000 troops under NATO command in the eastern part of the Alliance”, said the head of NATO.
