This Sunday, the annual meeting of the Diaspora Coordinating Council was held, in which Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present.

At the end of his speech, suggestions were made to better use technology so that Albanian specialists who are outside the borders are given the opportunity to exercise their profession in Albania. Rama proposed the kick off work for organizing another summit of the diaspora, next year, the year that coincides with the 145th anniversary of the League of Prizren.

“Thanking all the members of the Coordinating Council, I propose the start of work for organizing another diaspora summit for next year, which is an anniversary year of the League of Prizren. I hope you approve this proposal and we start work to organize a big summit of the diaspora and make another round of discussions, this time trying to involve more the government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia and other diaspora communities in the lands where Albanians live.

I hope that you will support this idea, you will help us to organize it as well as possible and to make an even better event and an even more inspiring and meaningful event than the first summit”, said Rama.
