The General Secretary of the Socialist Party, Damian Gjiknuri, during his stay in Skopje, North Macedonia, held a meeting with the vice-president of PES (Party of European Socialists), Radmila Šekerinska.

During the meeting, Gjiknuri and Šekerinska talked about the political situation in both countries, as well as about strengthening the role of the Balkan countries in the international arena.

The meeting also focused on the cooperation and support of PES in accelerating the process of integration of the Western Balkans into the European family.

Gjiknuri participated in the Socio-Ecological Forum in Skopje, North Macedonia, where during the discussion in this forum, he focused on the energy crisis, emphasizing that the government in Albania has maintained a stable price for family consumers, transferring this burden to the public budget.
