The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, hosted the mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, Shqiprim Arifin, with whom he discussed the issues and concerns of Albanian citizens in the Presheva Valley. The mayor emphasized that Tirana will always be an open door for each of them.
 With particular emphasis, Veliaj and Arifi discussed the implementation of the National Solidarity Fund, as well as important projects for the city of Presheva. Veliaj also appreciated the decision of the Albanians of Presheva to come together. “I look forward to the next meeting of the Union of Albanian Municipalities of the Region to approve the decisions to make all these contributions. I am very proud of the work you have done, of the fact that Presheva is led by a new team. Sometimes we can hardly find the language, but the fact that we have gone from 15 parties to 4 means that a kind of cohesion is being created”, underlined Veliaj.
 
The Mayor of Presheva Municipality, Shqiprim Arifi, thanked Mayor Veliaj for his support and congratulated him on his work and successes in Tirana.
“We congratulate you on your work, we also congratulate you on your successes which are clearly visible and you are welcome in Presheva”, declared Arifi.
