Kosovo minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that Kosovo Police started patrolling waters on the border with Serbia as well as the entire area of Lake Ujmani, for the first time since the post-war.

“For the first time since post-war, and after unit for patrolling of waters foundation, Kosovo Police started regular patrolling of the border line between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, and the entire area of Lake Ujmani, too”, Svelça wrote, while appraising the work of the Kosovo Police over the full control of the state border.

Ujmani is an artificial lake and lies in the northwest of Kosovo, while a small part of the lake passes into the territory of Serbia.
