Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko has submitted the draft resolution for the recognition of Kosovo.

“22 out of the 27 EU member states, for which we aspire, have already recognized Kosovo. Kosovo has also been recognized by the USA, Canada and Great Britain. Therefore, a consistent step of Ukraine will be the recognition of the state sovereignty of Kosovo and the expression of international support. I immediately reject all kinds of manipulations, the situation between Ukraine and the pseudo-republics of “LDNR” is not the same as in Kosovo and Serbia. This is the moment when Kosovo really has the right to independence. I hope that my colleagues in the Council will support and the resolution will be considered as soon as possible”, he writes.
