Greek Foreign Minister pays official visit to Kosovo and meets with President Vjosa Osmani

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will pay an official visit to Kosovo today.
The agenda envisages that the Foreign Minister will hold a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani around 15:00.
According to the announcement of the Kosovo Presidency, no press conference is expected after the meeting, but only press releases.
Dendias has visited Kosovo three times in the last three years. We recall that Dendias visited Pristina in June last year, where he was received by President Osmani.
At that meeting, Dendias said it was a constructive meeting on co-operation between the two countries and on developments in the Western Balkans. The Greek chief diplomat was also received by the then Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti in October 2020.
Greece is one of the five countries of the European Union which has not recognized the independence of Kosovo. Although it has not yet recognized Kosovo, Greece has cooperation with Kosovo in some areas.
