Russia and Serbia pose a threat to Kosovo’s national security, said US Congressman Ritchie Torres.

Torres, who is already the main figure in lobbying for Albanians in the US Congress, also said that Kosovo needs to join the EU and NATO as soon as possible.

“There is a need for a fast track to Kosovo’s membership in NATO. Shares have never been higher. Russia and Serbia pose a threat to Kosovo’s national security. It is important to make Kosovo a member of the EU and NATO. Kosovo has been a loyal friend of the US, a loyal friend of the EU. The least we can do is bring Kosovo into the NATO family,” Torres said.
