Earlier in the day, Escobar and Lajcak had a meeting with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during the meeting said that the state is committed to a dialogue that focuses on mutual recognition, emphasizing that an agreement on mutual recognition should not affect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and constitutional order of Kosovo.

“It is already clear that Serbia is blocking progress in dialogue through its unconstructive approach,” Osmani said.

According to the announcement, Osmani said she expects equal treatment of the parties in the dialogue mediated by the European bloc.

President Osmani is also quoted as saying that Serbia continues to not implement the agreements reached in the framework of the dialogue and presents obstacles whenever there are meetings organized within this process.
