For Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the Balkan region could represent a great opportunity for the resumption of the European Union, from which it can become a genuine economic engine.

“Together with the Visegrad Group countries, the Balkans are capable of forming an economically very important region in Europe. “For this, it is important to accelerate the path of European integration of these countries in the region”, stressed Orban.

“Balkan countries should not become areas of friction, but they should be integrated into the European Union,” Orban said at a conference of Visegrad Group Speakers.
