Kosovan President Vjosa Osmani met with the Swedish Ambassador to Kosova, Jonas Westerlund, to discuss recent developments in Kosova and explore collaboration on addressing shared challenges across Europe.

Osmani expressed gratitude for Sweden’s continued support for Kosova, highlighting the importance of this partnership in strengthening democratic institutions and advancing Kosovo’s European agenda.

The statement also revealed that Osmani and Westerlund signed a cooperation memorandum, ensuring the President’s Office will receive support from the Swedish government through expert assistance in the institution’s activities.

“This Cooperation Memorandum represents a significant step forward in strengthening institutional capacities and developing policies based on expertise and international best practices,” Kosovan Presidential Office states.
