Kosovo’s Minister of Culture, Hajrulla Çeku, announced the restoration of Sulejman Vokshi’s Tower in Gjakova, correcting past mismanagement.

Built in the early 18th century, the tower is a key cultural monument and the birthplace of Sulejman Vokshi, a leader of the League of Prizren and Albania’s independence movement.

Architecturally significant, the two-story structure features brick, natural stone, and traditional roof tiles. Vokshi’s legacy endures in history, folk songs, and dramatic works.
