King Charles III has sent a letter of congratulations to President Vjosa Osmani on the occasion of Kosova’s Independence.

The King’s congratulations state that the United Kingdom and Kosova share strong ties.

He expressed hope that the countries will also be able to cooperate on global issues, such as climate change.

“I am pleased that our countries share strong ties and look forward to further strengthening our friendship. I hope that our nations can work together to have a positive impact on climate change and environmental issues, which affect us all globally. My wife and I are pleased to convey our best wishes to you and all Kosovars,” the letter published by the British Embassy in Kosova reads.
