The United Kingdom will host the Berlin Process Summit this autumn, bringing together the Western Balkan countries – Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

According to a statement from the British Embassy in Pristina, the UK government is committed to strengthening partnerships in the Western Balkans, reinforcing European security, and addressing the shared issue of irregular migration.

Dame Karen Pierce, one of the UK’s most seasoned diplomats, has been appointed as the Special Representative for the Western Balkans. She will oversee the advancement of the UK’s strategic objectives across the region, including the preparations for the upcoming Summit.
