Osmani: Hybrid Attacks Threaten National Resilience

President Vjosa Osmani underscored the importance of safeguarding against hybrid attacks, stressing the need for technological investment.

Speaking at a conference organized by the Ministry for Defense on national resilience and emerging challenges, Osmani highlighted the necessity of a robust security framework to counter diverse threats.

“National resilience is not just a theoretical concept but the cornerstone of our security, development, and future as a state. As hybrid threats grow increasingly sophisticated, economic resilience is just as critical. Defending against hybrid attacks is imperative. Our country must invest in strengthening critical infrastructure and fostering a sustainable economy, with a strong emphasis on energy security,” President Osmani stated.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that national resilience is not an option but a fundamental state priority.

“In recent years, we have taken significant steps to reinforce our national resilience, a crucial element of comprehensive defense. This approach involves preparing society as a whole to withstand crises and emergencies. In these challenging times, our response must combine determination and unity,” Kurti affirmed.

Minister for Defense Ejup Maqedonci emphasized that national resilience is essential for ensuring a stable future.

“In an increasingly complex world, resilience is no longer optional but a necessity. It is not only the ability to withstand shocks and threats but, more importantly, the capacity to sustain vital societal functions, safeguard our values, and ensure our future is built on solid foundations,” Minister Maqedonci stated.
