North Macedonia’s Cultural Week Opens with Bold Musical Fusion in Tirana

As part of the International Cultural Weeks (ICW), North Macedonia’s Cultural Week has begun. It opened with the concert “Eyes to the Future”—an innovative performance that blended classical piano, electric piano, and the unique energy of a DJ.
The concert’s title carries deep symbolism. It reflects the hope and optimism of the people of North Macedonia for a brighter future.
Macedonian pianist Ema Popivoda and Albanian DJ Rea Lemnusha performed together at the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana. Their rare artistic collaboration embodied hope, optimism, and a vision for a European and global cultural future.
North Macedonia’s Cultural Week aimed to offer a one-of-a-kind experience. It combined tradition with innovation and used music as a bridge between two countries, two cultures, and many hearts.
More events will take place throughout ICW in the coming days. North Macedonia’s Cultural Week will continue until April 30, featuring exhibitions, wine tastings, and theater performances.
