Osmani Accepts EU Observation Mission Report on February 9 Elections

President Vjosa Osmani met today with the Head of the European Union Election Observation Mission, MEP Nathalie Loiseau, who presented her with the mission’s final report on the 2025 parliamentary elections.
President Osmani emphasized that the presence of this mission reflects the Republic of Kosovo’s commitment to transparency, accountability, the rule of law, and upholding the highest democratic standards.
“The 2025 parliamentary elections were a testament to Kosovo’s political and civic maturity,” Osmani stated, adding that the peaceful and orderly electoral process confirmed that democracy in Kosovo is alive, stable, and continuously progressing.
For her part, EOM Chief Nathalie Loiseau congratulated President Osmani for Kosovo’s dedication to democratic values and for the peaceful organization of the elections. She praised the civic maturity shown by the citizens and the full cooperation extended to the observation mission.
The meeting also included discussions on the report’s recommendations for further strengthening the country’s democratic processes.
