President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met today with the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, to discuss the current political situation in the country.

According to the official statement, President Osmani informed Ambassador Orav about the upcoming consultative meeting with political party leaders, scheduled for tomorrow.

“The meeting also addressed the recent high-level visits of EU representatives to Kosovo, including today’s visit by the President of the EU Council, António Costa, seen as a strong signal of the EU’s support for Kosovo’s European integration,” the statement said.

All political party leaders have confirmed their participation in the consultative meeting convened by President Osmani, which is expected to take place on Thursday, May 15.

President Osmani’s media advisor, Bekim Kupina, confirmed that all leaders have committed to attending Thursday’s meeting with the President.
