European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is in Tirana to attend the European Political Community Summit taking place tomorrow.

On platform X, she shared a group photo with several participating leaders, including Albanian President Bajram Begaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama, European Council President Antonio Costa, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, and others.

Von der Leyen said that holding the EPC Summit in the Western Balkans for the first time is a powerful symbol.

“In Tirana for the European Political Community meeting. The first in the Western Balkans. What a powerful symbol! Our European family of values reaches far beyond the borders of the European Union. We share one continent, and a common future,” she wrote.
