With summer underway and wildfire risk increasing, U.S. Army advisors are helping the Albanian Air Force boost its operational skills through specialized training.

The U.S. Embassy in Tirana shared that exercises at Farka Air Base focus on improving wildfire response, including the use of Bambi buckets—airborne tools for extinguishing fires in hard-to-reach areas.

These trainings mark another important step in the growing military cooperation between the U.S. and Albania. They show a shared commitment to strengthen regional readiness against natural disasters and emergencies.
