Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today in Skopje with North Macedonia’s Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski.

The meeting took place during the Western Balkans Leaders’ Summit.

Kurti congratulated Mickoski for successfully organizing the event and thanked him for the hospitality.

They discussed bilateral relations and the implementation of joint agreements between the two governments. They emphasized the importance of operationalizing the two shared border points and explored new opportunities for cooperation.

In line with the summit’s theme, they also spoke about EU integration for both countries and the region. Additionally, they underlined the importance of the EU Growth Plan and funding in accelerating reform efforts.
