Christopher Landau, US Deputy Secretary of State, announced his meeting with Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Landau said they discussed potential areas for economic cooperation.

He stated, “In my meeting with President Vjosa Osmani, we discussed possible future economic collaboration. We expressed confidence that prosperity and economic cooperation will help the Western Balkans move beyond past divisions and promote lasting peace and stability in the region.”

Earlier, President Osmani also shared details of the meeting. She emphasized, “Kosovo stands side by side with the United States to build new chapters of strategic cooperation, aligned with President Trump’s strong vision.”

Osmani added, “More security. More development. More opportunities for our citizens and businesses.”
