Cyber-security Cooperation Strengthened Between Albania and Kosova

The National Authority for Cyber-security welcomed a delegation from Kosova as part of ongoing efforts to enhance regional cooperation in the field of cyber-security.
The Kosovan delegation was led by Lulëzon Jagxhiu, IT advisor to the Prime Minister of Kosova, and included representatives from institutions responsible for digital transformation and cyber defense.
According to the authority, the visit focused on presenting Albania’s cyber-security framework, including the legal and regulatory context, functional structure, operational capacities, incident response mechanisms, and coordination with national and international stakeholders.
Director General Igli Tafa stated that building a partnership with Kosova’s institutions is part of the government’s vision to strengthen cyber-security resilience across the region. He noted that exchanging practical experiences is key to addressing the evolving challenges of the digital space.
The visit underscored a shared commitment to deepening cooperation between the two countries to protect the joint digital space and bolster national and regional resilience.
