FSHF President Duka visits Bujanoc and Presheva, supports children’s football tournament

President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, visited Bujanoc and Presheva during a children’s football tournament held in the Presheva Valley with support from the Federation.

Duka was accompanied by Executive Committee member Anila Basha and Albanian Ambassador to Serbia, Bardhyl Canaj. In Bujanoc, they were received by Mayor Arbër Pajaziti, in the presence of representatives from local clubs Tërnoci and Besa.

The focus of the meeting was the development of football in the area. Discussions included coach training, equipment provision, and infrastructure improvement. Duka underlined the Federation’s commitment to supporting football initiatives at the grassroots level.

Mayor Pajaziti welcomed the contribution of the Albanian Football Federation and called the tournament a meaningful step for the community. He highlighted the example of national team captain Berat Gjimshiti, originally from Tërnoci.

In Presheva, Duka held an official meeting with Mayor Ardita Sinani. The discussion focused on sports infrastructure, youth participation, and institutional coordination. Mayor Sinani thanked FSHF for organizing the tournament, which gathered over 300 children from Presheva, Bujanoc, and the diaspora, across U-7 to U-13 age groups.

Duka described the event as the start of a long-term engagement by the Federation in the Presheva Valley. He underlined the importance of involving children in structured sports and affirmed continued support.
