Kosovo Post has released a new stamp series in honor of Rame Lahaj, one of the most distinguished Albanian tenors in the world of modern opera.

Born in Istog, Lahaj has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages. He has represented Albanian culture with pride at venues such as the Royal Opera House in London, Teatro Real in Madrid, and the Opéra de Paris. His voice symbolizes excellence, soul, and artistic dedication.

Beyond his international career, Lahaj has contributed to Kosovo’s cultural life. He founded the Rame Lahaj International Opera Festival. This festival brings opera closer to the public and supports young artists.

The stamp celebrates an artist who has crossed borders with his voice. It honors his role as a global ambassador of Albanian culture.
