Loro Boriçi, a distinguished Albanian national football player, was born on August 4, 1922. He grew up in his hometown of Shkodër and attended Saverian College. Standing tall at 1.87 meters, he made his football debut at just 14 years old. He wore the jersey of his hometown team, Vllaznia, playing against a team from Pogradec.

In 1939, Boriçi revealed his unstoppable striker skills. He became one of the most famous and beloved footballers in Albania after scoring three goals in just four minutes during a match against Tirana’s Spartak.

Later, he ventured beyond the Adriatic Sea, playing two years in Serie A for Lazio. This rising star then returned to Albanian fields. As a national team player, he celebrated a major victory by winning the Balkan Cup in 1946.

Throughout his 20-year career, Boriçi played for Partizani, Vllaznia, and Spartak of Tirana. After retiring as a player, he became a coach. He led the Albanian national team, Spartak Tirana, Partizani, Lokomotiva Durrës, and for several years, the national team of the PRC.
