Protest in Prishtina, Spiropali: It Reconfirmed Deep Albanian Outrage over Historic Injustice

Speaker of Assembly of Albania, Elisa Spiropali spoke after the protest in Prishtina. She said it reconfirmed deep Albanian outrage. She called it a clear stand against historic injustice. She also highlighted strong support for former KLA leaders.

In her social media post, Spiropali listed several concerns. She said the former KLA leaders stay locked up in The Hague. She called it a violation of every standard, legal, international, moral, logical, and human. She described it as an act against justice. She saw it as a blow to freedom. She said it abused the sovereignty of an independent and democratic state.

Spiropali gave a clear message. “Justice cannot be overturned. Victims cannot become aggressors. Aggressors cannot play victims,” she said.

Thousands protested in Prishtina today. They opposed what they called “injustice” by the Kosova Specialist Chambers in The Hague. They stood in defense of the KLA leaders. These leaders face charges for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Protesters made their demand clear. They asked for justice, not injustice.
