Kosovo and North Macedonia Discuss Political and Economic Developments

The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received today in an official meeting the Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi.
Kurti was accompanied by the Acting Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, the presiding officer of the constitutive session, Avni Dehari, and the former Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca.
During the friendly conversation, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Kosovo and North Macedonia, their institutional cooperation to date, and the latest political and economic developments in both countries.
In particular, both sides highlighted the positive impact of interstate agreements. These agreements facilitate the movement of citizens and goods while strengthening cross-border cooperation.
Within this context, the discussion also addressed concrete projects. Among them were the joint border crossing points Hani i Elezit–Bllacë and Glloboçicë–Jazhincë, as well as the Prizren–Tetovë road project, expected to generate significant economic and social benefits for both countries.
